Organisation
The heart of the competence centre is the three work packages Environment Society, Hydraulic Engineering and Hydropower Technology. For each work package there is a steering group with high expertise in the work packages' focus areas and we also work multidisciplinary in collaboration between the different work packages.
The Programme Council consists of representatives from the Centre’s different stakeholder groups and they handle the project proposals coming from the steering groups and recommend which projects should be approved by the LTU President. The Programme Council also works with the overall vision and direction of the Centre and to create synergies between the different work packages. The Centre also has a Science Advisory Board, led by our Centre Director and consisting of international experts and a research leader from each work package. The Science Advisory Board reviews and monitors the activities of the Centre and makes suggestions on how to improve them.
